Indulging the Chocolate Monster
Had a crazy craving for chocolates this past week...need to satify them BADLY but how...may be by pacifying them would help reduce the pang for chocolate. Now, unfortunately for me, my chocolate preferance has been upgraded substantially from the plain and easily available and consumable Cadbury ZIP with strawberry filling and wafer, available in any shops in Malaysia - 7-11, uncle's shop etc., to a much exclusive and pricey but OMG delicious (eyes were rolling backward just vividly tasting it in my mind) Tuecher or even Godiva http://www.godiva.com/ or even Patchi http://www.patchi.com/.
And so here was my trip to pay bills in KL with a planned "chocolate pacifying side trip". It was a DISASTER to my pocket but pacified the monster to a certain extent...a scoop each of New Zealnd Natural http://www.nzn.com.my/ Icecream Chocolate Ecstacy, Choc Fudge Brownie and and Green Tea. It pays to be a NZN Member ;)
Satisfied with the purchase, as i went down the escalator, Harrod's sale labels caught my greedy chocolate monster eyes. As I browsed around, I did not find the chocolate, just hard candies...nope, nt what I have in mind...but yes...the Chocolate Tartlet was beckoning me...closer and closer and the mind just can't resist the overwhelming temptation to sink my rabbit teeth into the sinfully delicious looking chocolate laced dessert...and so the final damage was 1 piece of Jaffa Orange Chocolate Cake, 1 piece English Tea Cake and 1 piece...i felt like i just died and went to heaven with all these goodies.
Will include pictures next time...but for now hoping readers will be enticed to pacify your own monsters.
